BabyTV to launch on Sky Italia

Fox International’s BabyTV has announced that it will be launching on SKY Italia, Italy’s largest pay-TV service, as of July 31st 2009.
BabyTV is set to launch on SKY Italia’s Kids Pack with a localized Italian channel, adding 4.7 million new subscribers. In preparation for the upcoming launch, BabyTV has received an endorsement by Professor Marina D’Amato, one of Italy’s leading Professors and Experts in children &media.
Diego Londono, Managing Director of Fox International Channels in Italy and GAS countries, said: “BabyTV has already proved successful with parents and babies around the world and we are very happy to be introducing it in the Italian market in the next months. BabyTV will be joining our 11 channels in Italy and we will be introducing it to audiences via a cross channel campaign as well as on ground marketing activities. The launch is BabyTV’s first deal in the country and marks it’s entry into Italy, significantly expanding it’s presence over southern Europe.
